If you’re a graphic designer with a big love for snowboarding, we are offering you the opportunity to join the creative team at our Amsterdam HQ.In a nutshell At Bataleon, the Production Designer collaborates closely with our Marketing manager, Art director, Trade marketing specialist and other areas of marketing, to produce on-brand assets across various web, digital and print mediums.You will be responsible to design (or create) graphics for specific campaigns, commercial or promotional needs, such as displays, logos, or imagery for print and digital uses including banner ads, social media posts, website graphics, magazine advertorials, window displays etc.You contribute to build a creative, flexible atmosphere in your role for Bataleon:ResponsibilitiesExtend and translate established creative concepts into production-ready print, web, and digital assets.Work collaboratively with Marketing and Sales teams to create a consistent and cohesive brand experience.Work efficiently on multiple projects with consistency and exemplary attention to detail.Embrace an iterative design process and be receptive to feedback throughout the process.Guard and apply the Bataleon brand identity to designs, while you are not afraid of showing your own progressive and innovative vision in your proposals. Work includes email templates, landing pages, social media, paid digital advertising, slide decks, one-pagers, trade show booth design, shop windows etc.Work on creative executions ranging from digital brand identity to social media content creations, e-commerce newsletters and all other consumer touchpoints, offline, b2b or online. Inspire yourself and fellow team members with latest trends.About you Education in a relevant graphic/visual/communication design field Early-career designer with initial industry experience, internships or junior roles are great starting pointsPortfolio showing a keen eye for detail paired with lots of creative flair A passion for snowboarding and understanding of the culture and community surrounding the industry Self-directed, with the ability to juggle multiple projects Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, a good feel for snowboard photography and photoshop skillsSelf-starter with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude, comfortable to lead and to follow Experience as an in-house designer for a brand or agency are a plus, but not a must English skills on point For the role you will be based at our HQ office in Amsterdam, so you should already have a working permit/visa for Europe. About Bataleon Generally, you wouldn’t connect Amsterdam to snowboarding, but for almost 20 years Bataleon has led the industry in 3D shape technology.
