We are currently seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Trade Compliance Analyst to join our team. This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with international trade laws and regulations, conducting data analysis to identify potential risks and opportunities, and providing strategic recommendations to enhance our trade compliance processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of EU Import and Export Trade laws with an emphasis in Dutch and Irish regulation, be able to work independently, and balance projects with daily operations.
Work with internal stakeholders to create a streamlined and compliant Service Logistics network in support of Pure Storage customers.
Interact with internal stakeholders to resolve shipment-level issues.
Work with external suppliers - Brokers, IOR, Carrier and Warehouse to facilitate international trade.
Conduct comprehensive analysis of trade compliance data to identify trends, patterns, and potential risks.
Develop key performance indicators and metrics that accurately measure business.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement trade compliance strategies and initiatives.
Prepare and submit regulatory reports, documentation, and filings as required by relevant authorities.
Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on trade compliance policies, procedures, and best practices.
Assist in conducting internal audits and assessments to evaluate trade compliance effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in trade compliance to proactively address potential challenges and opportunities.
Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
Bachelor''s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or related field.
Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in trade compliance or related field.
Strong history of data analysis, KPI and SLA development and management.
Strong understanding of international trade laws and regulations, including but not limited to import/export controls, customs regulations, sanctions, and embargoes.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) with the ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Certification in trade compliance (e.g., Certified Global Trade Compliance Specialist) is a plus.
